Purchasing Manager Raw Material, Nonwoven & Converting (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the procurement of Raw Materials (Chemicals, Binders, …), Nonwoven-Products and Converting Services (NW&C) for the European production sites of FPM (Purchasing vol. 20-30 Mio €/a)
  • Definition and implementation of strategies, objectives and KPIs for optimal selection of suppliers, products and processes
  • Execution of negotiations, conclusion of supply-agreements incl. all relevant conditions and service levels
  • Execution of regular global market research & analysis, value analysis, benchmarks
  • Support of Risk-Management, supplier development and process-standardizations
  • Continuous performance of related activities to identify opportunities to maximize Procurement value contribution

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree with a focus on purchasing or comparable qualification
  • Experience in purchasing / SCM required and very good knowledge of SAP MM and MS-Office
  • High degree of intercultural competence, ability to work in a team, initiative, strong communication skills and strategic thinking
  • Very good knowledge of project management is a plus
  • Willingness to undertake regular and international business trips
  • Very good and business fluent English skills round off your profile
