SASMAR is looking for a skilled and strategic Purchasing Manager to join our team and help optimize our procurement processes. As a leading pharmaceutical company specializing in personal care and fertility products, we are committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining efficient and cost-effective operations. Your role will involve overseeing and managing the purchasing department, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring that we source high-quality materials and services that meet our production needs. You will be responsible for developing strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing purchasing strategies to support our business objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with SASMAR’s goals. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and favorable terms. Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential suppliers and make informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align purchasing decisions with production and operational needs. Monitor purchasing budgets and performance metrics, implementing cost-saving initiatives where possible. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding procurement. Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position. Proven track record of developing and implementing purchasing strategies in a global environment. Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of supplier management. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess and interpret data to make decisions. Effective leadership and team management abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing or procurement software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal teams. Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
