We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive team member to join our vibrant Purchasing team. As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient purchasing processes across all departments of the winery.

• Purchase materials, equipment and/or supplies at the best price in accordance with purchasing guidelines
• Monitor company purchase orders to ensure orders comply with company policies and procedures in regard to authorisation levels
• Ensure pricing in purchasing system is correct for items purchased
• Liaise with suppliers regarding ordering, quoting, invoicing, timings and quality
• Review and process all invoicing queries and discrepancies
• Batch purchase orders and delivery dockets for processing
• Process authorised credit card purchase orders and reconcile transactions
• Follow up all outstanding purchase orders
• Maintain all purchasing records
• Assist with employee company travel bookings and enquiries
• Establish effective working relationship with suppliers
• Assist in data entry and purchasing administrative activities
