Harvey Norman Commercial Project Division is a leading supplier of sanitary ware and appliances to the Victorian building, plumbing and development sectors. We are rapidly expanding in the Victorian market and are looking for a skilled Purchasing Officer to join the busy team located in Laverton North. Our offer is unique to the market as we can provide a full product solution for our core customer’s needs; Architects, Builders, Designers, Developers and Plumbers.

Responsibilities:
- Purchase stock from a variety of suppliers to meet deadlines and maintain stock levels
- Organise stock call-ups in line with customer project schedules
- Ensure best possible pricing is obtained using various resources
- Review backorders and follow up delivery times with suppliers daily
- Keep relevant departments informed of back orders and due dates
- Answer internal and external queries regarding purchase to assist our end customer
- Assist and respond to any purchasing discrepancies
- Liaise with suppliers & maintain relationships
- Provide full support to Sales teams & account managers
- Provide feedback to management, maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Participate in stocktake twice yearly
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time to fulfil your role
