Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Managed garment purchasing, including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, and order placement.
• Coordinated fabric, trims, and accessories procurement to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Maintained vendor relationships, purchase records, budgets, and timely material deliveries.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and assess their reliability, capability, and pricing structures.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future demand to prevent stock shortages and optimize purchasing strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential for a foundational understanding of procurement principles.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, showcasing a proven track record of successful vendor negotiations.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly valued.
