Job Description ► As a Quality Engineer in Purchasing, you’ll support purchasing project management at a technical level (e.g., Supplier Scouting) and conduct supplier visits and process assessments (e.g., VDA6.3 process audit, CSR Quick Scan, Line Walks, etc.) ► Furthermore, you’ll work closely with the Product Responsible Manager (PRM) and the Purchasing Manager (PUR) and are responsible for Purchasing Quality Assurance activities (PQA), such as product requalification. ► Your tasks include supplier development and onboarding, as well as escalation management and technical supplier discussions during the project phases ► At the same time, you’ll be responsible for the management of technical changes (ECR) and supplier-initiated change requests (SICR), as well as product development and release through the derivation of preventive quality planning (PQP) and the production part approval process (PPAP) ► Last but not least, you’ll take care of supplier releases and the coordination of the Quality Assurance Agreement (QSV) with the supplier, as well as complaint management through 8D problem solving for customer and supplier complaints, and the creation of incoming goods inspection plans and supplier monitoring (e.g., external failure costs [EDC] and PPM tracking) Qualifications ► Education: Mechanical Engineer qualification or similar ► Know how in quality core tools (FMEA, APQP, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, Process flow, Standard Work, 5S, 14Q, PS, CIP,…) ► Minimum 3 years’ experience in the automotive quality department ► Skills: Good communication, structured, motivated, and analytic mindset ► English fluent ► Excellence in MS Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and basic knowledge in SAP ► VDA6.3 Auditor qualification would be advantageous Additional Information #LikeABosch Benefits: Your work-life balance is valuable to us, so we offer you: 22 - 27 days of annual leave, because work-life balance is essential to us Flexible working hours Our Hybrid program is designed to combine working from office and from home, offering flexibility and a balanced approach Up to 3 days off for private purposes Your health and well-being is important to us, so we have you covered: Medical subscription for annual health check ups Paid private health insurance Mental health and well-being initiatives We believe in a Life-Long Learning approach, supporting your growth through: Technical and soft skills training, according to the needs of your role and career path A mentorship program and personalized development plans English and German language courses, provided based on job requirements and responsibilities Local and global career development programs Opportunities to attend conferences, that align with your professional goals You will be part of a product company.
