Leadership of Nordson’s Purchasing, SCM & Warehouse activities & teams primarily in South Asia (For few businesses Middle East & Africa also), whose functions include: Identifying and sustaining vendors to Produce components as per Nordson Design and quality standards. Procure standard components in accordance with Nordson purchasing standards. Managing Nordson’s purchasing process, including that of capital equipment. Negotiating and releasing / Approving Purchase Orders. Ensuring QCD standards are consistently met. ensuring efficient use of resources to control cost. Supervising a team of engineers and associates from purchasing, SCM & Warehouse. Implementing a continuous improvement program including the use of appropriate software tools. Acquisition and delivery of raw materials, components or parts that form the end product. Includes acquisition of goods at the right time, quantity, quality and cost. Areas include: buying/planning, components engineering, commodities, supplier diversity, strategic sourcing and vendor relations.
