Responsibilities

The company Purchasing Specialist/Buyer will be responsible for the purchasing and management of stock, materials and services to ensure that the companies operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery whilst ensuring continuity of supply.

As the Purchasing Specialist/Buyer your responsibilities will include:

  • Source, negotiate and procure materials and services from suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan and forecast procurement needs based on project timelines and budgets.
  • Handle contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Work closely with the construction and design teams to understand material requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory standards in the property industry.
