For more details about General Mills please visit this Link Purpose of the role The purpose of this role to manage purchase and logistics for ITQ function for GEMs region & NAR. Role requires high level of internal and external collaborations. Key Accountabilities The primary job will include processing of plant trial requests for JFB/ITQ, and subsequent order confirmation. Person will process capital and expense requests for JFB pilot plants. Person will do reorders for JFB. Person will be responsible for clearing open POs and any blocked or on hold invoices. Person will be responsible for onboarding new vendors for India/GEMs. Person will be managing invoices for external testing for India/GEMs Person will be interacting on regular basis with internal requestors and external vendors/suppliers. Person needs to work with internal teams to drive process improvements through digital initiatives. The person should have good communication skills, including writing. Person should be quick learner on internal processes, e.g., SAP, Maximo, MSP, Doc Routing, mfg.-Pro, QAD, etc. Person should be well versed with using Microsoft office tools – e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Person is expected to step-in as a backup for other team members when needed. Minimum Qualifications Education – Full Time graduation in commerce from an accredited university (Mandatory). Graduation from technology, engineering or any other field can be considered if you hold knowledge & work experience in logistics and purchase. The person should have at least 1 year of full-time job experience in managing logistics and purchasing for a center or in a plant.
