In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services, and managing vendors. The ideal candidate will ensure that our company has the materials it needs to operate efficiently while maintaining quality and keeping costs within budget. Key Responsibilities Vendor Management: Research, select, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment. Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the company. Inventory Tracking: Monitor inventory levels, track deliveries, and ensure items arrive on time and in good condition. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues with missing, damaged, or incorrect shipments. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Solid organizational skills and high attention to detail. Proficiency with basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory management systems). Ability to work effectively in an office environment during standard business hours.
