Description Purchasing Specialist (Inventory & Operations) Chantilly, VA (On-Site – 5 Days/Week, Monday–Friday) About Mosaic Mosaic is a growing interiors distributor supporting builders and designers with cabinetry, tile, lighting, plumbing, and more. With 9 locations and a central servicing center, our success depends on strong purchasing, accurate inventory, and reliable supplier partnerships. This is a fully on-site role based in Chantilly, VA, requiring in-office attendance five days per week. What You’ll Do Review and release purchase orders for accuracy and timing Track open orders and follow up with suppliers Coordinate inbound shipments, including truckload orders Maintain accurate costs and pricing in the ERP system Monitor inventory levels and support purchasing decisions What Success Looks Like Orders are accurate and on time Inventory is aligned with demand (low stockouts and excess) Supplier communication is proactive and organized System data is accurate and reliable Requirements What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, or operations Experience in a distribution, wholesale, or inventory-driven environment preferred ERP system experience (Prophet 21 a plus) Basic to intermediate Excel skills Strong attention to detail and organization Why Mosaic Competitive pay (based on experience) Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO + paid holidays (including your birthday) 401(k) Employee product discounts Opportunity for growth within purchasing and operations Apply if you’re ready to take the next step in your purchasing career and make an impact in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
