As part of the strategic expansion of our team, we are looking for a Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d) for operational purchasing as soon as possible.

Your tasks

• Independent execution of operational purchasing activities (e.g.  order processing, delivery date tracking, handling of returns and complaints)
• Independent coordination of inquiries to suppliers (service providers) (quantities, prices, conditions, preparation for decision support)
• Maintenance and updating of purchasing master data
• Communication and coordination of delivery dates and quantities with suppliers and internal interfaces
• Support with supplier selection and the approval process
• Participation in projects and management of sub-projects
• First-level escalation support for procurement issues
• Support in ensuring material availability, taking into account costs, quality and deadlines.
• Support in defining the strategy and implementing the requirements for optimizing the inventory of procurement materials
• Participation in process optimization in operational purchasing

Your profile

• Commercial training or completed studies in economics
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in operational purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient use of an ERP system (SAP preferred) and MS Office
• Structured and independent work style as well as a good understanding of purchasing processes
• Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
