Duties: Perform routine procurement and contracting activities under the guidance and supervision of the CFO Semi-annually, review and update procedures for: Purchasing standards ensuring that compliance with Meeting Street’s policies and practices., Vendor selection process ensuring that compliance with Meeting Street’s policies and practices are met, including the organization’s commitment to supplier diversity and promoting diversity across the business ecosystem. Create and maintain preferred vendor list prioritizes small businesses, minority and women owned businesses. Manage and issue purchase orders according to our organization’s policies in the most expeditious and transparent manner possible with high accuracy. Authorize payments and manage purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure all customer requests are fulfilled. Work closely with the Director of Capital Facilities and the IT team to create and source Capital purchases. Meeting Street believes the dignity of each person is paramount.
