Description Purchasing Specialist Help drive inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction at Wesco Turf. The Purchasing Specialist plays a key role in supporting purchasing operations by managing inventory flow, vendor communication, and order accuracy across multiple product lines. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is looking to grow within a stable, long-term organization. What You’ll Do Support the Principal Buyer with Toro purchasing, including stock, direct shipments, and shop service orders Provide purchasing support for Allied vendors across 50+ product lines Place daily purchase orders and manage buyer queues Maintain strong vendor relationships and clear communication Monitor inventory levels, fill rates, and product availability Review product status and manage inventory requirements daily Reconcile daily receiving issues in coordination with Receiving, Accounting, and Customer Service Communicate backorders, ETAs, and order status changes; update systems accordingly Verify pricing and part number changes and communicate updates internally Maintain inventory supplies (boxes, labels, bags, etc.) Coordinate inventory movement between warehouses Assist with vendor claims, 1RGA processing, and defective parts tracking Review open purchase orders bi-weekly and assist with annual returns and obsolescence programs Support purchasing email queues, documentation updates, SOP maintenance, and special projects What Can We Give You?
