Description

The Accounts Payable/Purchasing Staff Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and supporting purchasing activities. This role involves collaboration with various departments to maintain financial accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, M/S Word and Excel required.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Experience with NetSuite (preferred) or equivalent ERP system.
  • Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Previous accounting knowledge and/or bookkeeping experience.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contracts.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
