Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchasing Supervisor to join our Purchasing team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our procurement department, you will oversee purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the company Oversee the entire purchasing process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with department heads to determine purchasing needs and forecast demand Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations Coordinate and conduct regular inventory audits with storeroom personnel Mentor and supervise junior purchasing staff, providing guidance and performance feedback Implement and maintain quality control measures for purchased goods and services Cultivate and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and high-quality supply Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in procurement practices Local knowledge essential Qualifications Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and cost savings Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Familiarity with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards is a plus Knowledge of local suppliers and market conditions in Vietnam is highly desirable Additional Information What awaits you...
