Description
The Purchasing Support Operations Specialist will be responsible to support the Direct, Indirect and/or the Aftermarket Purchasing Organization(s) and their varied commodities.   The Purchasing Support Operations Specialist will interact with various stakeholders at Stellantis (Engineering, Program Team, Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk Management, Purchasing Finance, Accounting, Cost Engineers) in order to coordinate the various actions required to manage Contract Revisions and Maintenance within the SAP environment.   Functional responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Receiving, reviewing, and reacting to requests for assistance with: * Contract and Purchase Order Parameter Updates * Cancel/Issue Purchase Orders and Contracts * Purchase Requisition Adjustments * 3rd Party Packaging Updates * Payment Terms Changes * Price Change Requests * Price Change Integrity Audits * Ad Hoc Reporting * Other General Purchasing Tasks to Support the Buying Community The ideal candidate will strive to drive improvement to the purchasing organization's processes and strategies. We are looking for a high energy, enthusiastic professional, driven to achieve world class results as a Purchasing Support Operations Specialist. Qualifications Basic Qualifications:  * Bachelor's degree required  * Min 5 years of experience * SAP experience required * Must be complacent with repetitive tasks involving multiple line items * Strong communication skills and highly customer-focused  * Strong fluency with Microsoft Office Suite *  Well organized, self-motivated, persistent and resourceful in managing complex situations * Comfortable multi-tasking in a demand-driven environment with minimal day to day supervision * General business acumen, some knowledge of the automotive experience Preferred Qualifications:  * Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SAP  * Broad, multi-disciplinary experience in the automotive industry * Experience working in a global environment
