JOB TITLE: Charge Nurse SUPERVISOR: Facility Administrator and Clinical Supervisor Job Summary: The Charge Nurse is a qualified professional nurse responsible for planning and organizing all patient and personnel activities in the hemodialysis unit on all shifts. He/she will assume authority for the operations of the facility in the absence of the Administrative Nursing Director. Qualifications: • Current license for registered nurse • Baccalaureate degree preferred • Minimum of one year in nursing to include six months’ experience in a hemodialysis unit • CPR Certification

Responsibilities

The Charge Nurse is responsible for planning and organizing all patient and personnel activities within the hemodialysis unit. They assume authority for facility operations in the absence of the Administrative Nursing Director.
