PUTAWAY ASSOCIATE
JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW:
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Put Away position is responsible for quickly removing scanned products and putting them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Remove scanned product from the scanning area quickly
* Move product to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
* Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
* Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
* Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday for 8 hours with a half hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
* Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
* Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
* Must be tech-savvy
* Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities
The Put Away Associate is responsible for quickly removing scanned products from the scanning area and placing them onto shelves according to the established auction and lot number system. This role also involves assisting the team in achieving established quantity and quality goals and maintaining cleanliness in designated work areas.
