POWERCHINA JEPCC is a state-owned engineering company under the POWERCHINA Group, with over 60 years of global experience in energy, infrastructure, and renewable projects. Our Dubai Branch, established in 2019, is the regional hub for the Middle East & North Africa, delivering large-scale solar, renewable, and green energy projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical from a recognized institute.
• 3+ years drafting/design experience in solar PV projects (utility or distributed generation).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (certificate preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience with SketchUp/Helioscope and knowledge of IEC standards is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, good communication skills, and able to meet deadlines.

• Prepare and update electrical and solar PV plant drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), earthing, lighting, lightning protection, cable trench, and switchgear/control room drawings.
• Draft PV module layouts, inverter placements, AC/DC cable routing, and substation/switchyard designs.
• Assist with shadow analysis using SketchUp or Helioscope (preferred).
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for cables, connectors, earthing, and other plant materials.
• Support civil, mechanical, and MEP teams with related drafting work when required.
• Follow IEC and industry standards for all drafting tasks.
