Description
Responsible for Body interior on Ranger and Bronco. Support plant on any stop ships, campaigns, quality issues. Support F7 Body Interior new model Launch. Develop ICA and PCA for both in plant issues and warranty issues. Lead root cause analysis using 6 sigma method. GSAR binning/re-binning, read claims, contacting dealerships on parts, make HOT requests to ship parts to suppliers for root cause evaluation. Manage BSAQ project inputs, project health, and glidepaths. Provide part signoffs to support builds. Review and sign-off SREA's. Support Plant MCR blitzes. Support Body Interior VRT meetings. Support FTT issue resolution at plant. Participate in Dearborn-based VFG and FQR meetings when on the agenda. Coordinate/Support engineering change trials. Use local supplier rep if available. Support fresh eyes reviews on pre-builds. Support Launch when needed for small model years. Approve Alerts and Concerns in WERS system. Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of Production Plant experience, prior PVT experience desired. Must understand and have experience in creating Failure Mode Analysis documents: DFMEA, PFMEA & SCCAF's. 5+ years Forward Model Product Development as Design & Release (D&R) in Structures & Systems Engineering interfacing with Studio, Safety, Testing and Validation (VEV), Vehicle Operations Manufacturing Engineering (VOME), Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), and Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) Six-Sigma Black Belt. Must be a CAD capable engineer (Catia v5 & Teamcenter). Ford Warranty systems knowledge of ECB (Early Claims Binning), BSAQ Balanced Single Agenda for Quality. Demonstrated Technical Problem-Solving Skills. Ability to establish a systems engineering approach to problem solving. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Excellent presentation skills.
