JOB DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY

The PwC CEE CSRD Leader will take a leadership role in establishing and driving internal processes related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting across the PwC CEE network. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and overseeing a unified framework for preparing PwC CEE’s consolidated sustainability report in compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This position will ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance in PwC’s internal ESG reporting processes.
The PwC Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region is a diverse mix of countries with varying economic, regulatory, and cultural landscapes. This position requires managing a virtual team of data owners, coordinating contributions from all 23 CEE countries, spanning from Prague to Ulaanbaatar, and ensuring consistent, high-quality, and compliant ESG data for PwC’s consolidated sustainability report. You will act as a central point of contact, working closely with internal teams across the region to ensure alignment and efficiency in reporting processes.

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • University degree in Environmental Studies, Data Science, or Business Administration.
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing projects effectively.
  • Previous experience in a regional role or managing responsibilities across multiple countries is preferred.
  • CSRD Reporting: Comprehensive knowledge of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) standards.
  • Proven track record in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics, including CSRD and net-zero programs are preferred
  • High level of precision in service delivery, communication, and collaboration.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze data and propose well-founded conclusions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong willingness to learn new skills and stay updated with the latest industry developments.
