Description: The R&D Intern is responsible for supporting PXG’s R&D team with product testing, fixture & machine design, research studies, and process improvement initiatives. You’ll gain direct, hands-on experience working with, and helping develop, the world’s finest golf clubs.  We are seeking undergraduate students majoring in Engineering with a passion for Golf. Responsibilities: * Design and document mechanical components and assemblies, following engineering standards. * Improve internal data analysis tools through collaboration with senior engineers. * Collect and analyze performance data using Trackman or GCQuad. * Document test results and collaborate with the R&D team to review findings. * Assist the team with preparing test samples and test equipment. * Use lab equipment to accurately measure physical and golf specific properties.  * Conduct product quality inspections on FA samples. * Actively participate in team discussions regarding design, testing, and process improvement initiatives. * Additional duties as assigned. Job Skills Required: * Experience with CAD software * Comprehension of engineering principles * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products * Strong golf equipment knowledge * Passion for golf Job Skills Preferred: * General understanding of machining & manufacturing processes (CNC milling, casting, forging, etc.) * Basic programming knowledge (VBA, Python, Labview, etc.) * Geometric Design & Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge * Experience with golf launch monitors * Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis Soft Skills: * Solid critical thinking/analysis skills  * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Self-motivated and eager learner * High accountability * Attention to detail * Ability to work independently Education: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineer, and/or related field.  Years of Experience: * Previous internship experience a plus * Golf related experience a plus Travel: * Possibly of local travel during business day Working Conditions: This position primarily works in an office/golf shop environment.
