This role is a fixed, permanent position. All successful applicants will receive a permanent employment contract regardless of location. Successful applicants are required to be based in Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, London, or Porto.


The role:


  • Help create functional requirements together with our customers.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to develop and implement requirements.
  • Build efficient data-powered REST APIs in Python
  • Build end-to-end data pipelines and AI models needed for your APIs.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate with your APIs.
  • Contribute to testing and bug fixes.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Python backend developer, ideally, 2+ years in a B2B environment
  • Comfortable speaking with customers clearly to understand requirements.
  • Experience with Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Bottle), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST
  • Solid understanding of databases and SQL, preferably graph databases.
  • Experience building data pipelines with complex data.
  • Experience with large, enterprise-grade applications
  • Located in Germany or Europe
  • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
