We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a strategic program within a leading financial institution in Stockholm. This role focuses on scaling credit risk models and frameworks for capital calculation, offering deep exposure to regulatory analytics and enterprise-level solution design. In alignment with Avigna’s values, we are committed to providing an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. 📅 Duration: Start Date: 01 February 2026 End Date: 31 December 2026 📍 Location: Stockholm, Sweden 💻 Mode of Work: Hybrid (on-site and remote) 🛠️ Responsibilities: Lead technical design and development of Python-based solutions for credit risk modeling Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements into scalable applications Build robust data pipelines and analytical tools using Python, Pandas, and Polars Implement orchestration, caching strategies, and API integrations on cloud platforms Maintain metadata, user access controls, and system security Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability Document system architecture, data flows, and technical specifications 🎓 Qualifications: 9–10 years of professional experience in Python development Strong command of third-party libraries such as Pandas and Polars Proven experience in cloud environments and API-based integrations Background in solution architecture and application design Familiarity with orchestration tools and caching techniques Hands-on experience with credit risk IRB models Excellent analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure 🎁 What We Offer: Competitive salary, good work-life balance, and comprehensive health and life insurance
