JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team at Freddie Mac. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, data processing, and API frameworks, with the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Expertise in Django, Flask, or FastAPI (at least one major framework)
• Solid understanding of NumPy and Pandas for data handling and transformation
• Experience with Relational Databases (SQL, schema design, optimization)
• Strong knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest, etc.)
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
