Job Description The Global Software Development team in Statkraft delivers leading software solutions for all business areas, ranging from Energy Management to Robotic Trading Systems. Custom software development is essential for Statkraft to remain a market leader in renewable energy production and market access services. What to expect: As a Python Developer you will closely engage with the business by developing customized systems in our back-office processes, giving Statkraft a competitive edge in the power market. The following tasks are mainly part of your area of responsibility: Design, develop, test and deploy solutions based on Python and AKS. Support the team to build and extend its knowledge base. Work closely with the business to understand the business process and needs; refine and design the technical concept. Develop high quality software in all its aspects. This includes design, developing code, debugging and unit testing. Technical specifications, design documents, functional designs and requirements are required as well as knowledge of estimation processes. Contribute to the further development of software development within Statkraft and our business in Spain. Qualifications Several years of software development experience Experience using AI assisted software development Strong experience with Python Knowledge of the Fast API framework PostgreSQL, Oracle and knowledge of AKS would be beneficial Experience with working with financial & time series data and systems supporting business or industrial processes Always pushing for excellence and high quality Solid English and Spanish language skill Additional Information At Statkraft, you’ll shape a career that is truly forward-facing with many amazing opportunities and offerings to match.
