Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Django Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Django and Django REST Framework, database management, API development, and collaborative software development practices. The role requires a problem-solver who can deliver reliable backend solutions while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Python and Django, ensuring scalability, reliability, and clean architecture. Build and manage RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF) to support frontend applications and third-party system integrations. Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration and smooth data flow between systems. Design and manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, data modeling, and query optimization. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards. Use Git for version control, actively participating in collaborative development workflows such as branching, merging, and code reviews. Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues to ensure system stability and performance. Perform unit testing and assist in application testing to maintain high-quality software deliverables. Support application deployment activities and assist with basic server management tasks in Linux-based environments. Monitor application performance and implement improvements for optimization, efficiency, and scalability. Maintain and enhance existing applications based on business requirements and feedback. Requirements 4–5 years of strong hands-on experience in Python development using Django. Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework. Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), including schema design and performance tuning. Experience working with Git and collaborative development environments. Strong debugging, testing, and application maintenance skills. Basic knowledge of application deployment, server environments, and performance optimization. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced development environment.
