QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading application development projects, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of full-stack development concepts, including back-end, front-end, and mobile technologies (Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and React Native)
• Experience in automation testing and performance testing is a significant advantage.
• Previous experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a proven ability to effectively manage agile teams.
• Industry experience in banking, insurance, or other financial services is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze user requirements alongside current system workflows and procedures.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate systems, infrastructure, and database design, while assisting the supervisor in liaising with various stakeholders.
• Support the supervisor in preparing project documentation, managing schedules, and overseeing system releases, including production, incident, and cyber hygiene management in collaboration with relevant application teams.
• Perform code reviews and security testing, ensuring system documentation meets deadlines and complies with work procedures.
• Implement technology solutions that align with user requirements and the company’s strategic objectives.
• Lead an offshore development team in developing and supporting highly scalable, high-performance digital solutions.
• Drive Agile development in the cloud using DevOps practices and the latest technologies.
• Ensure the smooth operation of application systems while providing technical support and troubleshooting for end users.
• Analyze technical issues to develop cost-effective solutions and conduct research on new IT technologies, preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations.
