Description The QA Analyst independently owns quality validation for assigned modules or features by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test coverage. This role ensures system functionality, identifies risks proactively, and supports release readiness while aligning with Civix QA governance, standards, and best practices. The QA Analyst is expected to adapt to evolving project needs, maintain high-quality documentation, and contribute to consistent QA processes across engagements. Key Responsibilities Design, maintain, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases Validate defect fixes independently and close tickets after thorough verification Participate in sprint planning, defect triage, and Agile ceremonies Identify testing gaps, edge cases, and potential quality risks early in the cycle Support UAT activities and reproduce production issues for validation and RCA Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA Leads to clarify requirements and expected outcomes Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects Adapt to changing project needs, priorities, and timelines while maintaining quality standards Maintain clear, structured, and up-to-date QA documentation (test cases, results, validation checklists) Align with Civix QA governance, standards, and testing best practices across projects Ensure consistency in testing approach, documentation, and defect reporting Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, templates, and checklists Provide timely updates on testing progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders Requirements Experience with manual testing methodologies and QA best practices Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Experience with test management and defect tracking tools Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test coverage Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills Ownership & Decision-Making Owns quality for assigned features or modules Makes independent testing decisions within assigned scope while adhering to QA governance guidelines
