Description Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands such as Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. With multiple sales channels including our DTC websites and third-party marketplaces, we’re passionate about delivering a seamless and inspiring shopping experience. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive?QA Analyst?to join our development team. This role will be embedded within our engineering group and play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our websites and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong manual testing skills, a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms (especially Shopify), and a vision for building automated testing capabilities over time. Responsibilities Testing & Quality Assurance Perform manual testing across websites, integrations, and new features to identify bugs and usability issues. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and regression testing protocols. Document and communicate defects clearly to developers and stakeholders. Ensure consistent quality across multiple brands and platforms. Automation Strategy & Implementation Evaluate tools and frameworks for automated testing. Build and maintain automated test scripts as the testing program matures. Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. Shepherd business owners through user acceptance testing (UAT), providing guidance and support. Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure QA coverage and continuous improvement. Platform Expertise Apply knowledge of Shopify to validate storefront functionality, checkout flows, and app integrations. Test third-party integrations including ERP systems, product content tools, and marketing platforms. Requirements 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing, preferably in an eCommerce environment. Strong manual testing skills with attention to detail and process. Familiarity with Shopify platform preferred, including storefront behavior and app ecosystem. Experience with test case management tools and bug tracking systems. Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. This role is based in our Charleston, SC office. Hybrid work option available after 90 days of successful in-office performance. *This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.
