Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Analyst in the United States. As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of digital products, including mobile applications and websites. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and validating solutions against functional and technical specifications. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, project management, and support to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software. You will also help promote best practices in information security, data protection, and regulatory compliance. Accountabilities Review functional and design specifications to fully understand deliverables. Develop, document, and maintain detailed functional test cases, data validation scripts, and automated tests. Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases, reporting results accurately. Conduct backend database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers, and data integrity. Facilitate test plan and test case reviews with cross-functional teams. Identify, replicate, and report defects, ensuring fixes are verified and documented. Promote and enforce information security best practices, including data protection and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy standards. 5+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in web or client-service environments, preferably within Agile methodologies. Expertise in database testing, including SQL Server and UNIX environments. Experience writing clear, detailed test plans and cases; familiarity with JIRA is a plus. Ability to liaise effectively with development, project management, and customer support teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. BS or BA degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with API or load testing. Familiarity with Jenkins or continuous integration workflows.
