DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

  • The Software QA Engineer performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 8 Years: Testing complex Web Applications.
  • 8 Years: Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • 5 Years: Advanced Database/SQL Language.
  • 3 Years: API, JSON, XML
  • 2 Years: Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools.
  • 5 Years: Experience testing reports.
  • 3 Years: Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST).
  • 2 Years: Previous experience with Zephyr Scale preferred.
  • 2 Years: Previous experience with JIRA preferred.
