This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Automação Pleno e Senior - Segmento Financeiro based in Brazil. In this role, you will join a highly agile environment supporting a major financial sector client, where quality and reliability are critical to business operations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary squads to design and evolve automated testing strategies across complex distributed systems. The position involves strong technical depth in backend, frontend, and integration testing, ensuring robust validation of APIs, messaging systems, and user interfaces. You will also contribute to CI/CD maturity, improving pipelines and embedding quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. Collaboration with developers, analysts, and stakeholders will be key, as well as a strong focus on scalable test architecture. This is an opportunity to impact large-scale financial solutions with high transactional criticality. \n Accountabilities: Design and implement end-to-end test automation strategies across web, API, and integration layers in a financial systems context. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Build and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured, ensuring data integrity and system reliability. Validate event-driven architectures using Kafka, ensuring correct message flow across distributed systems. Implement UI and end-to-end test automation using Cypress or Selenium, covering critical business journeys. Work with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, integrating automated tests and improving delivery efficiency. Define and apply testing best practices, including unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG. Contribute to system design discussions to ensure testability and quality are embedded from the architecture stage. Requirements: Solid experience with Java for test automation development and execution. Hands-on experience with Kafka for validating event-driven and distributed systems. Strong experience with API testing tools, especially Rest Assured for RESTful services. Experience with Cypress or Selenium for UI and end-to-end automation testing. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG. Experience working with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance. Strong understanding of REST and SOAP services, including validation and consumption. Knowledge of test automation architecture, scalable test design, and software engineering best practices.
