ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI and API testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern test automation tools, continuous integration, and behavior-driven development practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
· Design and implement API automation tests using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
· Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure test coverage.
· Write and maintain BDD/TDD test scenarios using tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
· Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to closure.
· Ensure test automation aligns with Agile development processes and sprint cycles.
