Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in Selenium automation, API testing, Agile delivery, and banking applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong testing fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
  • Perform API testing and validation using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Scrum teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.


Must-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Testing
  • Strong experience with Cucumber (BDD Framework)
  • Experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Banking/Financial Services domain experience
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle
  • Experience in Test Case Design and Test Execution
  • Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing
  • Proficiency in defect management and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Good-to-Have Skills


  • Experience with API automation tools such as Rest Assured or Postman
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing
  • Exposure to test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or ALM
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Exposure to performance or security testing concepts
  • Knowledge of payments, cards, retail banking, lending, or capital markets applications
  • ISTQB or other testing certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
