KEY SKILLS:

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficiency in scripting and coding languages (e.g. JavaScript/TS, Java, Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing best practices.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our Opus platform and integrations. This role is focused on building and maintaining automated testing frameworks, increasing test coverage, and embedding test automation into the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to drive efficiency and reliability in software delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Increase test coverage by identifying and automating critical user journeys.
• Support shift-left testing by embedding automation early in the development process.
• Conduct API, performance, and security testing as part of the automation strategy.
• Troubleshoot test failures, analyse root causes, and work with engineers to resolve issues.
• Continuously evaluate and improve test strategies, tools, and methodologies.
