We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to work on a project in the Fintech industry

You will be part of a distributed team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.


We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills within enterprise environments, and a good understanding of Quality Engineering, testing strategy, and governance.


What you will do:


  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale test automation frameworks.
  • Maintain and update existing automation frameworks as applications evolve.
  • Apply Quality Engineering principles to testing strategy and governance.
  • Implement and manage automation initiatives across web, API, and desktop platforms.
  • Integrate testing into Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery pipelines.
  • Apply AI-powered testing capabilities where relevant.
  • Carry out compatibility, functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively within enterprise environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.


What you will bring:


  • 4+ years' experience in a QA automation role.
  • Proven experience updating and maintaining enterprise-scale test automation frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Quality Engineering, testing strategy, and governance.
  • Experience implementing and managing automation initiatives across web, API, and desktop platforms.
  • Proven experience integrating testing into Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery models.
  • Experience implementing AI-powered testing capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of compatibility, functional, integration, and regression testing practices.
  • Excellent communication skills within enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, REST Assured (or equivalent), SQL/DB2, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and Azure or AWS (including cloud-native applications and microservices)


Nice to have:


  • AI-driven testing approaches including self-healing automation, AI-assisted test generation, and intelligent defect analysis.
  • Contract testing (PACT), service virtualisation, and integration testing methodologies.
  • Performance testing and engineering using tools such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner.
  • Salesforce platform testing across integrated business applications.
