QA Automation Tester Salary range: 65,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD The Role & Key Responsibilities THE ROLE As a Software QA Automation Tester, you will be responsible for testing complex computer software, creating detailed test plans from requirements, and developing high-quality test scripts. This role demands a passion for learning new skills and applying them effectively, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Creating detailed test plans, test suites, and test cases from requirements Designing, Developing, and maintaining automated test cases and ensuring the stability of test scripts Performing functional, non-functional, regression tests, and end-to-end tests for complex software Preparing and maintaining Azure build and release pipelines for the CI/CD process LOCATION Full Time, Hybrid Position to be filled in Warren, NJ Candidate MUST be able to reliably commute daily Relocation incentives or visa sponsorship NOT offered for this position BENEFITS 401(k) 401(k) matching Health, Dental, Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible spending account Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Qualifications and Experience Experience in testing Windows and API applications Strong SQL Server skills, including understanding SQL Server programming such as stored procedures, user-defined functions, and views A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA script automation At least 5 years of experience in C# or Java programming A solid understanding of Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and tools Experience with Azure DevOps in build definitions, release definitions, and continuous integration Experience with automation tools like Selenium, UFT, Playwright and JMeter is a plus Experience with Generative AI tools for writing Test cases and scripts The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and identify test cases early in the process OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of shipping business 3 years of experience in an agile scrum environment EDUCATIONAL LEVEL Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related, or equivalent employment experience
