QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in building and maintaining test frameworks from scratch.
• Strong expertise in writing and executing automated tests for web applications.
• Solid experience with manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, pytest).
• Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in creating test frameworks from scratch. Your role will involve ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications through both manual and automated testing. The successful candidate will have a passion for innovation, stay current with emerging technologies, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. You will work closely with engineers and product managers to deliver consistent and sustainable results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manual Testing: Perform exploratory and regression testing (then using autotests) to identify bugs and improve software quality.
• Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks from the ground up using any popular programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Go). Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and testing processes to maintain a clear and organized testing environment.
• Reporting: Provide detailed reports on test results, highlighting any issues and suggesting improvements.
