Description

Individual experienced in QC will work closely with the Manager to ensure that product quality standards are being met on a daily basis. Will assist the inspectors as needed, and maintain quality records and documents. Provide analytical support when needed to solve root cause quality problems. Maintain AS 9100 and ISO documentation to maintain the Company’s certifications.

Duties will include:

  • Develop and maintain process routings, BOMS, print, drawings, and CAD/CAM files for new and existing products.
  • Assist as required in the development testing procedures to assure quality. May include outside tests/labs.
  • Develop/improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Develop and evaluate various project plans and progress.
  • Apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials; conferring with vendors, operators, supervisors and outside experts.
  • Design gages and measuring equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, machine operators and outside vendors.

Must have extensive experience in quality work within a manufacturing environment. Knowledgeable in ISO and AS9100 requirements and auditing procedures. Familiar with sampling plans and gage management
