JOB SUMMARY:

The QA engineer at Argano will have a direct impact on both the quality of our product and the growth of the QA team. They will be a versatile QA on an early-stage product who will implement an automation testing strategy, write and maintain automated test scripts, and work closely with the development team to improve overall product quality. Additionally, they will play a key role in scaling the QA team by identifying hiring needs, recruiting, and mentoring new QA engineers.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field expected.

EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing (8+ years).
  • Expertise in writing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing.
  • Familiarity with APEX and Oracle Cloud systems a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and implement test plans and strategies.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure product quality.
  • Perform cross-browsing and/or cross-device testing and tests on web apps
  • Collaborate with product management, development, and operations teams to reproduce and resolve issues and ensure seamless integration of QA processes. Suggest UX, functional or visual improvements.
  • Ensure effective defect tracking and resolution processes. Document test results and maintain test documentation. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on QA progress and issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies. Stay up to date on software application testing tools and best practices.Recommend quality improvement initiatives.
