We are hiring a QA Engineer to join our team in Belgrade, Serbia. In this critical role, you will be an integral part of our cutting-edge technology team, focusing on the rigorous testing and quality assurance of advanced video compression software and cloud services. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience for our sophisticated technical solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail to drive continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for: Conduct comprehensive testing of compression software and cloud services, encompassing both manual and automated testing methodologies aligned with detailed test plans Develop and implement sophisticated automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage Perform in-depth analysis of video compression software and cloud services, evaluating critical aspects such as visual quality, performance, and overall system efficiency Generate detailed test status reports and comprehensive result analyses Systematically identify, document, and track technical issues using advanced bug tracking systems, ensuring thorough investigation and resolution Requirements Requirements: Advanced degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or closely related technical discipline Minimum of 3 years of professional Quality Assurance experience Proven expertise in creating automation scripts with demonstrable technical proficiency Strong programming skills across multiple languages, including Python, Perl, C, and C++ Expert-level computer user with robust cross-platform operating system knowledge (Windows, Linux, MacOS) Advanced command-line interface capabilities, including shell scripting proficiency in cmd, bash, and other tools Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices Intermediate to advanced English language communication skills Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet critical deadlines, and collaborate effectively in team environments Strong plus will be: In-depth knowledge of video coding principles and extensive experience with video compression technologies Familiarity with professional video codecs like FFMPEG, x264/x265 Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Advanced skills in Selenium and UI test automation techniques ** This position is based in Belgrade, Serbia ** Please note this is a full time, Hybrid (NOT REMOTE) position.
