OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Consumer Products Testing Engineer to join us! In our team, you can always stay at the forefront of technology, have access to and learn about the latest generation of networking technologies worldwide. Together with other outstanding engineers in the team, you will create reliable, stable, and high-speed network access products for users, provide user-friendly and convenient smart home solutions, and bring convenience to the lives of millions of users worldwide!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software or consumer electronics testing.
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocol (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of networking issue debug methods.
  • Familiarity with test case design and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with different teams.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (PREFERRED):

  • Knowledge of smart home ecosystems (Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and continuous integration technologies
  • Deep understanding of user experience, attention to detail, and ability to think and analyze problems from a user perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Execute manual and automated testing for smart home products, including cameras, smart plugs, bulbs, and robot vacuums, etc.
  • Test device connectivity with cloud platforms and mobile apps.
  • Assist in log collection and analysis for debugging purposes.
  • Participate in or assist with Local Test & Beta Test, collect user feedback, and follow up on reproducing issues.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Document test cases, results, and bug reports.
