About the role We are seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting issues, contributing to automation efforts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle. This is a key role with the opportunity to directly impact the user experience by upholding high quality standards and continuously improving our testing practices. What you'll do Functional Testing (Web and Mobile): Design and execute test cases to validate system functionality against requirements, ensuring applications work as intended. API Testing: Use Postman, Karate, or similar tools for API testing; experience includes creating collections and managing data. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools, collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues. Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. Testing Documentation: Develop and maintain testing documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on manual testing. 1 + years of experience in API testing using Postman, Karate, or similar tools, including skills in collection creation and data management. Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC processes, test case design, defect management, and root cause analysis. Knowledge of ISTQB principles and best practices in QA. Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills. Nice to have’s Experience with automation tools Experience in a startup or high-growth product company environment.
