Description
This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time Take full ownership of the QA strategy across our product ecosystem, including the desktop application, CLI, and API workflows. Develop and manage automated testing pipelines such as end-to-end, regression, and unit tests. Establish testing methodologies, quality standards, and release criteria. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify and address bugs early and frequently. Advocate for product reliability by focusing on edge cases, cross-platform compatibility, and practical developer scenarios. Foster a strong QA culture within the team through comprehensive documentation, effective tooling, and extensive test coverage. About you: You have 3–5 years of experience in QA or software testing, including leading QA initiatives. Proven experience testing developer-centric products, APIs, or CLI tools—preferably ones utilized by hundreds of thousands of users. Proficient in automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Comfortable creating and reviewing test cases, maintaining continuous integration pipelines, and working asynchronously. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering clean, dependable user experiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bonus: Experience contributing to open-source projects or working within open-source communities. Familiarity with Electron applications, Node.js, and Git workflows. Experience testing or developing tools like API clients or other developer-focused applications. Adaptability to thrive in a startup environment or a fast-paced product organization.
