Responsibilities: Test Strategy & Planning o Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that cover functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple platforms and environments Define test scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across all releases Test Execution & Automation o Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI/UX, API, and database validation using industry-standard frameworks and tools Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and usability issues before production deployment Perform thorough exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and scenarios not covered by scripted tests Quality Assurance & Reporting o Document, track, and communicate bugs with detailed reproduction steps, severity assessments, and supporting evidence Analyze test results and provide clear quality metrics, risk assessments, and release recommendations to stakeholders Collaborate with development teams to verify bug fixes and ensure proper resolution before closure Essential Qualifications & Experience: A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies across web and mobile applications. Professional knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar), API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured), and database query languages (SQL) Exceptional ability to identify inconsistencies, edge cases, and subtle defects that could impact user experience or system functionality Capability to break down complex systems, anticipate potential failure points, and design test scenarios that effectively validate requirements Clear and concise written and verbal communication for documenting defects, creating test documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams Comfortable working in agile environments with shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and evolving product requirements while maintaining quality standards If you've read the description and feel this role is a great match, we'd love to hear from you!
