MUST-HAVE:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of verifiable hands-on QA/QC experience.
  • In-depth practical experience working with GIT from the CLI.
  • Experience testing Web APIs and Web technologies.
  • Proven ability to generate, design, and execute test cases across a multi-language code base.
  • Strong knowledge of software review processes and QA/testing methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to new standards and integrate them into workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to explain, demonstrate, and document test case results effectively.
  • Ability to design and perform cross-platform and cross-browser testing.
  • Ability to automate testing processes where possible.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The QA Engineer will manage functional testing and UAT for major features while focusing on advanced testing areas including edge cases, load/performance testing, scalability, unit and integration testing, and test automation. The role requires a proactive, self-driven individual who can design innovative testing strategies and ensure platform quality across multiple environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage creation and maintenance of comprehensive test cases.
  • Oversee a Test Case Management Platform to ensure proper documentation and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers to carry out and verify functionality and platform testing.
  • Design and execute unique, unpredictable, and rigorous ways to exercise the platform’s functionality, including edge cases and stress scenarios.
  • Perform cross-platform and cross-browser testing to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Investigate and implement tooling improvements to optimize developer and QA/QC workflows.
  • Track and report daily progress through Jira and Clockify.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute insights from QA perspective.
  • Assist the customer support team, including participation in Level 1 support as needed.
