Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for functional and regression testing, with growing ownership of test architecture decisions.
• Test API integrations, particularly around payment processing, wallet transactions, and third-party provider connections.
• Validate data integrity across distributed systems.
• Integrate and maintain tests within CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD).
• Reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution, working directly with developers (Jira).
• Participate in performance and load testing efforts for high-transaction-volume systems.
• Support UAT cycles with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Contribute test cases and coverage plans for new features, including those built on Temporal workflows and Kubernetes-based microservices.
• Help maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-4 years of experience in software QA or test engineering.
• Solid understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools).
• Comfortable writing SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/Bitbucket).
• Experience in fintech, payments, or banking domains.
• Exposure to Kubernetes-based environments.
• Experience testing mobile applications built with Flutter, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, or similar).
• Awareness of security testing practices for financial systems.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.
