WHAT WE APPRECIATE IN TERMS OF EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2-3 years of Software QA experience;
• Good knowledge of Software Testing Methodologies;
• Quality focused mindset;
• Great attention to details;
• Good time management skills;
• Good troubleshooting skill;
• Good knowledge of Windows OS - Windows 10 and later versions;
• Ability to perform and develop Test Plans, Test Design and Test Execution for System Testing, Acceptance Criteria, Functional Testing, Run Test Scripts, Integration Testing, Regression Tests;
• Basic knowledge of scripting skills: CMD, PowerShell, Bash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
• Mobile testing experience (both iOS and Android) is a plus;
• MacOS knowledge is a plus.
• Shell Scripting is a plus.

THE ROLE

As a QA Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full project life cycle of our software products as part of a dedicated development team. You will work alongside the development team using Agile Scrum to ensure the quality of all Heimdal products.
You will report to our Dev Team Lead located in Bucharest.
We are looking into all cities in Romania, therefore if you are located in Bucharest, you can work from home and come to the office when and if it is necessary or if you’d like to come. If you are located in any other city in Romania, you can work remote, from home - we have the online resources to guide you through the pre-boarding & onboarding processes and beyond.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform daily testing tasks as part of the monthly development sprint;
• Investigate, report and track bugs detected in our software products, working closely within the Dev team to ensure these bugs are properly reported and the status is up-to-date;
• Develop and execute Test Cases;
• Troubleshoot and investigate issues reported by customers and the support team;
• Take part in the daily, weekly and monthly scrum ceremonies.
